Reading Difficulties in English Language that Facing the Ninth Graders and How to Deal with these Difficulties from the Point of View of Teachers in Jordan

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تعرف صعوبات القراءة التي تواجه طلبة الصف التاسع في اللغة الإنجليزية وکيفية التعامل معهم من وجهة نظر المعلمين في مدارس مديرية تربية لواء المزار الجنوبي. لتحقيق اهداف الدراسة، تم تطوير استبانة لاستقصاء الصعوبات القرائية لدى طلبة الصف التاسع في اللغة الإنجليزية، حيث تم التحقق من صدقها وثباتها. تکونت عينة الدراسة من (100) معلم ومعلمة في مديرية تربية لواء المزار. کشفت نتائج الدراسة عن أن الصعوبات المتعلقة بالتسهيلات التعليمية قد احتلت المرتبة الأولى في حين أن الصعوبات المتعلقة بمجال الکتاب المدرسي قد احتلت المرکز الأخير. إضافة إلى ذلک، فقد کشفت النتائج عن وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في تصورات معلمي ومعلمات اللغة الإنجليزية يعزى لمتغير الخبرة العملية، حيث أن قيمة F)) قد بلغت ((5.78، والتي تعد ذات دلالة إحصائية عند (≤0.05). في حين کشفت النتائج عن عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الدرجات الإجمالية لوجهة نظر المعلمين في تقديراتهم للصعوبات القرائية التي يواجها طلبة الصف التاسع تعزى لمتغير الجنس حيث أن قيمة (T) قد بلغت (0.17) وهي غي دالة إحصائياً. في ضوء نتائج الدراسة، تم اقتراح العديد من التوصيات، منها: - ضرورة توفير التسهيلات التربوية اللازمة في المدارس، وکذلک أهمية إجراء مزيد من الأبحاث لدراسة صعوبات القراءة باللغة الإنجليزية من منظور الطلاب وأولياء أمورهم.
